Skate or Dice is a competitive deckbuilding experience for 2-5 players featuring sweet tricks, big combos, and dice rolls.

We’re playtesting at the moment. Launching in Summer 2024.

So first of all, we love skating. This game started out inspired by the classic Tony Hawk video games we grew up playing, but as it developed we kept one foot firmly planted in today’s real-world competition scene, so Skate or Dice is playful and colourful but also filled with details that come from a deep appreciation for the sport.

(Our creative director skated on-and-off all his life, right up until the day he smashed his face into a road and spent a week—and thousands of pounds—getting emergency dentistry. After that he started looking for a different way to enjoy skateboarding…)

We also love card games. We believe the best games come in small packages, with elegant, intuitive rules. The team is full of DMs and GMs, serious gamers and casual ones… but for Skate or Dice the goal is to make something accessible to everyone.

You don’t need to be a skater to understand it, and you don’t need to be a tabletop expert either. It’s easy to learn but challenging to master, with a good amount of chaos to keep you guessing…
